India is a vast country, this list is not exhaustive, but is the most complete list I could find. The science of ancient India, frankly I am not an expert at that, but then it does put up a question - why is that we do not give it the due importance? Is that a lost science? Is that the end of an era? Are these outdated thoughts? The modern world of science taking over the past?

But then is this version of Nehru the right way to interpret the heritage?
History and Heritage is always clouded by prismatic view of the author. Is there any thing as an impartial author .. So the mute question - What is history? .. too heavy a thing to think on the new year. This comes about when you can not enjoy the glasses :). But the best of the debates on these non consequential questions can happen over glasses. Cheers.
