Raja of the golden era - The Raja of the modern golden era

Rajaraja Chola also known as the Raja Raja the great of the is one of the greatest emperors of the Tamil Chola Empire who ruled between 985 and 1014 CE. He established the Chola empire by conquering the kingdoms of southern India expanding the Chola Empire as far as Sri Lanka in the south, and Kalinga (Orissa) in the northeast. He fought many battles with the Chalukyas in the north and the Pandyas in the south. By conquering Vengi, Rajaraja laid the foundations for the Later Chola dynasty. He invaded Sri Lanka and started a century-long Chola occupation of the island.
A. Raja (Tamilஆ. ராஜா)(ஆண்டிமுத்து ராஜா) (born May 101963PerambalurTamil NaduIndia) is an Indian politician from the DMK. He is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha representing the Nilgiris constituency of Tamil Nadu. Raja was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 1996 and first served as minister of state from 1999 to 2003. On being re-elected to the Lok Sabha in 2004, he became a cabinet minister in the UPA government. In 2007, he first became cabinet minister for communication and information technology. On being re-elected in 2009, he was appointed cabinet minister for communication and information technology again until being tainted in 2G spectrum scam and having to resign in 2010.

What a fall, a few centuries, the namesake shows its true colour.
The past and the present. What a difference. But the Wikipedia, captures it all. One a glorious administrator and a statesman and a impeccable ruler. The other a modern ruler, administrator, statesman   - eh .. oh .. is it so? I don't want to be hauled in the courts :)). The Raja has captured the imagination of the courts too, or is it a diversion for the courts - (CWG - relief) there too.

A decade later - B. Raja rules?  - The speed at which we are progressing, we shall degrade in a few decades, what the centuries took. The information era, the Wikipedia or the wiki leaks, who will win the race?

A moot question - Is what seems to the eye the truth? - Or is the media, the culprit? - The dilemma is who to trust.

The wise saying - keep saying make all say it, for it shall be the truth in the times to come . (the modern definition of  truth - the twisted truth).  The one who captures and rules the fourth estate or should we now say the fifth estate too, rules the truth.
