Life, a word, which describes the essence of existence. How does one get evaluated in life? Evaluation, is there an end to it? Are we always on the knifes edge, being evaluated. This is the 360 degree syndrome. Truly the one, the wise one in the HR jargon to have coined it.
Is it good to realize it or not, thats a tough question. The answer is, good for the tough, bad for the weak. Good for the learners, bad for the looser.
Whats winning and loosing .. its the art of fooling the best of the evaluation systems. Some have mastered it, some are in the progress. That is life. But then what about self evaluation? Who do you fool here .. This is a question of fools. The bigger the fool, the more importance he gives to this question.
The best tool in the art, finish it with a bang. The finish is all that matters, the span of retention is less, it can cover up lots of failures. So just a few days left, 2010, end it with a bang, and then evaluate, for you will be at the top. Cheers :)
