Short Story - The Love

The eyes clashed, the moments spead by, the look did not flinch from the either side, the mind wavered into unknown waters, it was the first feeling of love. To recognise, it took time, a few more clashes of the eyes. The inevitable happened, the fort had fallen, the surrender complete, without a word been spoken, love had won, over the practical mind.
As time passed by, she, an epitome of purity, took away my power of expression. What was i to do? Proclame my love, and bring her down to the legions of the mortals? Alas with time, desire, love took over and i confessed to her, and made her a mortal, vulnerable to pain and love. It was a time of hope, dreams and commitments and hence the pleasures and pains of mortal love.
The years flowed, destiny ruled, aftermath, the sweet memories of those times.
