Moshin hamid book is a gripping narrative, of a young man from pakistan in US. It tries to deal with the complex issues post 9/11, the world faces from the point of view of a american who is a non american. It's worth reading, for understanding the undercurrent flowing in the mind of a common pakistani, viz a viz america and india, the two major forces that pakistani has to deal with in day to day life.
After reading it, it left me thinking ... What was the objective of the author? If it was to bring out the conflict in thoughts, the confusion in the mind of the young pakistani in america, he has done a good job. But on the other side, the ending is too meek, a waste of the strong character .. or maybe that's reality.
